Hi,
Would it be at all possible to directly create webcam-recorded-youtube-
content (i.e. quickcapture) from an external [non-youtube-hosted]
Flash client via a [future] API call?

The attraction of user-created video feedback (comments, blogging, etc.) is
highly desirable, and might lend itself to very 'sticky' You-tube based
applications.

Please do NOT confuse this with the video upload API request, although
that too will very useful (I am aware of Issue 73 ,
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=73).

Cheers

Rich

I was hoping this might be deemed an Enhancement (not a Defect).

Could this thread be reclassified?

Thanks

Rich

Yeah, this would be a really useful addition to the API

+1.

This would be a 'killer' feature for a client that I am working on. Hoping to see
this come up soon..

+1 again!

@Alavaren

So did flixn.com, but they burnt their VC dollars. This functionality needs to be in
a place that's got some chance at longevity.
