Brief Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting one-year project to help develop and implement HM Coastguard’s Operational Management System documentation – including on-line and electronic content.. We will draw fully on your creative approach and innovative ideas as you develop, design, and write the documentation which supports HM Coastguard training and operations.

Vacancy description

You will have the chance to make your mark as you work with users and in-house subject matter experts to gain a sound understanding of business processes and procedures, the regulatory background, and relevant systems and applications. You’ll then produce effective and well organised documentation in clear and simple English

Willing to travel throughout the UK, you will have relevant industry experience of preparing technical procedures and work instructions coupled ideally with a professional qualification. Knowledge of content management systems would be desirable. Skill in using Microsoft Office and other basic publishing software will be essential
