Brief Description
Administrative Support staff provide general admin support to the various sections within the court/tribunal/office or provide support to other functions within the MoJ family. Although many of the tasks are straightforward, regulated by well-established guidelines and/or detailed instructions, some initiative may be required
Vacancy description
37 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks).
Full Time, Suitable for Job Share/ Reduced Hours
Fixed term contract, of no longer than 51 weeks, there is a possibility of this post being made permanent dependent upon future requirements.
Duties may include:
1.Photocopying and scanning documents
2.Retrieving files out for queries
3.Filing
4.Form-filling
5.Data entry and recording on the in-house computer system
6.Operating court/tribunal/office equipment
7.Opening, logging and distributing mail
8.Answering straightforward telephone and email queries
9.General ad hoc office duties
Qualifications
2 GCSE’s (at Grade A, B or C) including English Language, or equivalent; OR have suitable experience within an administrative role.
