• Experience/ understanding of the practical issues associated with sample designs and estimation methods.
• Proven statistical/analytical problem solving skills.
• Delivering Quality Outcomes- Evidence to demonstrate building excellent relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers satisfying their needs and expectations while analysing problems, making informed decisions and offering workable solutions
• Working with Others- Evidence to demonstrate participating and supporting a team working collaboratively in order to achieve business objectives.
• Communication- Ability to communicate effectively tailoring style and content to suit the audience, with an awareness of confidentiality.
• Strategic Thinking-Evidence to demonstrate the ability to respond or lead through a period of change.
• Managing Work- Evidence of organising and planning work optimising the provision, allocation and use of resources and/or finance

Qualifications

• Atleast a 2:2 degree in Statistics, Maths with Statistics, or another numerate degree discipline, for example Geography, with a substantial statistical content (approximately 25 per cent); or a social science degree, usually with a significant research methods, social policy or statistics component. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject area or in research methods would be an advantage

Experience

For graduate entry level, no relevent work experience is required. However you'll be required to demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge gained from your degree. Whetehr you have some or no work experience you should be able to demonstrate the ability to apply what you have learnt enabling you to demonstrate:

• the ability to analyse data, 
• draw out main findings,
• understand and apply basic statistical theory ,
• have experience of using statistical software packages, for example SPSS, SAS,
• provide statistical expertise and objective evaluation of methods for sampling, estimation and research.
