You will be responsible for the management and monitoring of two term commissions with consultant quantity surveying firms. From time to time you will be required to assist in the selection and appointment of building professional consultants for larger conservation projects.
On an ad-hoc basis, you will be asked to provide general cost and contractual advice on Historic Building Repair Grant casework, and surveying advice to Historic Scotland's Historic Building Inspectors on Planning issues.
