Brief Description

The FSA’s new structure and strategic plan significantly increases the requirements and opportunities for on-line working and for the on-going development of ICT services. If this is to be delivered, it is essential that we promote exploitation of all deployed hardware, software, products and services available and keep users abreast of developments within ISTED.
This role is an opportunity to create a comprehensive ICT marketing and communication strategy, through which advances in all deployed technology and software can be cascaded to meet the business requirements of a leading scientific authority.
 

Vacancy description

You will be a senior member of the ISTED Business Development team, responsible for the creation of a comprehensive ICT Training Strategy to ensure improvements to applications, hardware or software can be fully exploited and cascaded to all internal and external users. This will include ensuring that ICT policies are fully understood and complied with through a variety of user awareness, education and training engagements.

This position is based in York or London and a regular amount of travel will be required in between the two sites.

 

Skills

You will have a strong background in IT, with experience of designing, developing and delivering specialist teaching or training to multi skilled audiences. You will have a good understanding of a wide range of ICT systems, the ability to document policy and procedure, and to engage and work collaboratively with both ICT colleagues and business customers including Personal Development professionals.
