Gus visit to Northern Ireland

Sir Gus O' Donnell visits Northern Ireland's Civil Servants

On Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March 2009, Gus O’Donnell visited Belfast where he met staff from the Northern Ireland Office and Northern Ireland Civil Service. 

During the visit, Gus heard about some of the innovative reform programmes that are being implemented in Northern Ireland, including new technologies as part of the future@work initiative and award winning training and development courses being offered to staff. 

Gus also gave a Masterclass to staff – part of an on-going series of these events – during which his spoke about the challenges facing civil servants in the 21st Century.
