    At the European coalface

    In between the Brasserie le "1898" and a pharmacy on a road in Brussels called the Avenue D'Auderghem or Oudergemdselaan, depending on whether you speak French or Flemish, is an unassuming door into the office block built above the shops.  The door blends into the street and but for the large crest set above it, could be the entrance to a set of offices in any street in any city.
