Brief Description


Leading TPR’s strategic direction with regard to development of TPR’s propositions to its core Trustee audience and demonstrating TPR values

Acting as the Customer Champion for TPR’s core Trustee audience and ensuring all Policy is presented in a coherent way to Trustees.

Leading the definition of a coherent approach to presenting the requirements and expectations on Trustees of different sizes and levels of engagement in pension provision.

Leading the deployment of TPR’s campaigns to Trustees and accountable for delivering the key metric of customer satisfaction.

Vacancy description

Key accountabilities:

• Communicating timely and relevant information to the team and other teams, business units and functions
• Measuring and reporting performance as required, including analysis of trends, variations, and improvements
• Participating in professional development activities and maintaining professional affiliations
• Ensuring effective working relationships and arrangements are in place with other business units/teams in the Develop function, Deliver function, Support function, relevant external stakeholders, professional, industry and Government bodies
• Understanding TPR objectives and focusing work on them
• Developing the strategic market segmentation approach toward Trustees and delivery of a segmented Trustee audience strategy for the Regulator
• Developing and delivering propositions appropriate for those segments
• Gathering Trustee information from across TPR and becoming the Champion and expert on Trustee requirements
• Developing strategic relationships with key Trustee stakeholder groups and influencers in the Pensions and Trustee arena
• Improving knowledge and understanding of Trustees including raising awareness, benefits and methods of successful pensions scheme administration
• Maintaining the framework for Trustee Knowledge and Understanding and continuing to influence delivery of appropriate learning to trustees
• Contributing to the development of the channel strategy
