We are seeking a professional Personal Assistant for our Director of Finance and Risk and Head of Finance who can proactively contribute to providing timely secretarial administrative support to the Director and his immediate reports. This will include providing work processes and delivery of work, as well as increasing the effectiveness and use of their valuable time through organisational office management. You will ensure the smooth running of Directorate meetings, projects and committees.

Vacancy description

Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties will include:
? Preparing committee and board papers and minute-taking at meetings.
? Extensive diary management, including meeting requests & delegating work tasks to aid preparation of meetings.
? Prioritise and organise commitments with Director and immediate reports as required.
? Provide word-processed services; including producing PowerPoint slide presentations when necessary.
? Preparing expense claims, completing invoice payable & other forms for signature.
? Liaise with internal/external partner contacts as and when necessary

Key Skills & Competencies:
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential minimum requirements for the role:

? A pro-active self-starter, with demonstrable experience in a similar Secretarial/PA role.
? Capable of demonstrating initiative and forward-thinking, including the ability to take independent action or consult as needed.
? Strong prioritisation and organisational skills; Experience of putting together committee papers, minute-taking and following up actions.
? Strong Microsoft Office applications are essential (i.e. Word, PowerPoint & Excel & Outlook) and other information technology systems.
? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including interpersonal skills to be able to develop effective working relationships.
