Civil Service People Survey – DCMS Benchmarking Results

In October 2009 DCMS took part in the first cross government employee engagement survey.

There was a 91% completion rate across DCMS and we achieved an engagement score of 56% - a detailed summary of individual scores is attached.

The summary gives the percentage positive score against each of the questions – the percentage positive being the sum of the score for “strongly agree” and “agree”.  The individual scores for the section on Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying have not been included and are replaced by ‘*' to protect respondents anonymity as the figures are so small.

The key messages will help to inform the direction of our efforts to enable us to maintain and improve this position. The main areas identified for improvement are Leadership and Change Management and action will be taken and we will regularly monitor progress.
