Women's transport issues
This section contains information on understanding the transport needs of women and includes strategies and approaches that could be used to promote their greater usage of existing facilities.
The checklist is a series of statements, against which managers are asked to check current practice and service provision.
The report includes a wide-ranging literature search and uses focus-groups to identify and explore the factors which affect women's experience and enjoyment (or not) of public transport.
