How do you subscribe to a Directgov RSS feed?

Subscribing to a Directgov RSS feed is quick and easy. How you subscribe will depend on whether you are an individual user looking to keep up to date with the latest information, or a website owner wanting to use Directgov content on your site.

RSS feeds for individual users

Individual users wanting to subscribe to a Directgov RSS feed will first of all need to get a news reader.

News readers

A news reader is a piece of software that checks the RSS feeds you have subscribed to and lets you read any new articles that have been published.

There are lots of different types of news readers. Some are web based which you can access from any computer, while others are downloaded and can only be used on the computer you downloaded them on to.
