Environment Management System
It is Ministry of Defence (MoD) policy to implement and operate a corporate Environmental Management System, based on international standards to build on current environmental protection practice and represents a commitment to more environmentally suitable operations. The Royal Navy actively encompasses this policy within the fleet and shore establishments endeavouring to meet and surpass the international standards.
