Management & Leadership

Management & Leadership

Being a leader or manager requires certain skills and abilities and in today's harsh economic environment it's a tougher task than ever. Training and recruitment budgets are often cut and staff may feel de-motivated and stressed due to redundancies of colleagues and increased workloads. Hence the need for strong dedicated management with the right personality and skills has never been greater.

Together with employers and stakeholders, the FSSC is determined to improve the training offering and support for managers in our sector. We'd like to do all we can to help firms access management and leadership training, by pointing out the training options and potential funding available. As a result, we are working closely with management and leadership organisations such as ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) and CMI (Chartered Management Institute). Below you can find out more about these organisations and what they can offer your business in regards to management training and qualifications.
