How to contact the Driving Standards Agency

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is a large organisation. We want to help you to contact the right part of the agency, so we can deal with your query or complaint quickly.

Our opening hours are 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Please use these links to find the contact details you need.

Please note:
When ringing the 0300 200 1122 number, initially you will be presented with the choice of selecting option 1 for theory test and option 2 for practical tests.

Option 2 provides a secondary menu offering further options for ADI, Pass Plus, Arrive Alive, Driver CPC, Customer Services etc.

For example, if you have an ADI related enquiry then you should choose options 3 or 4 from this secondary menu depending on your actual needs.

Theory and practical tests:

You can book your theory or practical driving test online, over the phone or by post. The quickest and easiest way to book and manage your test is online at direct.gov.uk/drivingtest. If you want to complain about DSA, please read our complaints procedure first.
