provided current information on the UK EU Presidency in addition to background material on the Presidency and the European Union.
Content
The website has both daily and static content. News, press releases and speeches related to the Presidency were published on a daily basis, with the latest content available on the homepage. Outside of this function, the site offers brief overviews of the EU, its member states and the range of policy areas tackled by EU officials - and the UK's priorities for these policies during its Presidency. All content is published in English and French.

Meetings and events scheduled to be held during the Presidency can be found in our Meetings section. These are listed by type, month and on individual days, with explanations of the different types of meetings and further details.
