Newcastle Science City and the Enterprise Europe Network are working in partnership for the purpose of this tender. Newcastle Science City’s vision is to enhance prosperity from science in Newcastle. Enterprise Europe Network North East England is part of the largest networks in Europe stimulating innovation through collaboration on products and projects across Europe. Newcastle Science City and Enterprise Europe Network are looking for an experienced company or consortium to deliver a series of highly innovative training workshops to help improve businesses and our regional economy in the full life cycle of commercialisation of innovative project. This should include projects from idea to implementation and should have a regional, national and European perspective. The training course should be at least 1/2day in duration, and no more than 2 days. The successful Tenderer will be required to demonstrate their training methodology has been tried and tested with a range of audiences from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and academics, to large multinational organisations.

CPI is specifically looking for organisations that can provide services, expertise, consultancy and advice for the chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, electronics and materials industries. CPI is seeking a service provider that will provide Skills and Coaching training for High Growth New Businesses within the market sectors of Advanced Processing, Industrial Biotechnology, Low Carbon Energy and Functional Materials. The Skills and Coaching training should be aimed at the provision of between 1 and 4 workshops per annum to an audience of between 12 and 20 people at each workshop. The workshop will be a one day event. The objective of the workshops will be to develop and enhance skills and behaviors which are viewed as critical success factors in entrepreneurs successfully establishing and growing new businesses.

Our catering needs are varied but can be loosely defined under two discrete headings: Deli-Bar Style Café (for use by staff and visitors to our premises) Internal Corporate Catering (for meetings. training etc...) BE-NE provides all equipment needed to operate the service including a fully functioning and serviced dedicated café area and it is anticipated that the successful provider will run this on a concessionary basis.
