Participation fund
Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs and Birmingham Association of Youth Clubs will use CWDC's Participation Fund to recruit and train young people to develop materials and training for other children and young people to be involved in workforce development. Two areas - one rural and one urban - will be involved.
The project will map current practice, develop induction and training materials and deliver training sessions, and a regional celebration event. More details can be found on the Participation Fund 2008 - 2009 page.
Applications are now being invited for Participation Fund 2009/2010 tenders, the deadline for this is 12 May 2009 at 13:00.
Remodelling social work
Our remodelling social work delivery project is looking for new ways to address key issues highlighted by the 2003 Laming Report. In the West Midlands there are two pilot projects running, one in Birmingham and one in Shropshire.
