Current studies

The Royal Commission currently has 3 studies in progress - 2 major studies and one short report.

29th report: The Environmental Impacts of Demographic Change in the UK

28th report: Adapting the UK to Climate Change

Short report: Artificial Light in the Environment

The adaptation report and the light report are both in the writing phases - we anticipate publication at the end of 2009.

The demographic change study is at the first evidence gathering phase. If you would like to submit information to be taken into account in terms of scoping the breadth of the study, you can do so via email, by 12th June 2009. More information can be found on the study page.

In Autumn 2009 the Commission expects to publish more specific questions on the topic, and will again be inviting the submission of specific evidence in relation to these questions.
