Cultural Agencies

Culture South East -
Our main objective is to champion cultural and creative interests in the region.

Arts Council SE -
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery.

Museums Libraries and Archives - /
MLA operates at regional level through nine Regional Agencies, our strategic partners responsible for representing museums, libraries and archives ‘on the ground’, informing policy and priorities and delivering programmes.

Sport England -
We are an organisation committed to creating opportunities for people to start in sport, stay in sport and succeed in sport. We promote and invest in sport and are responsible for delivering the Government's sporting objectives. We believe sport has the power to change people's lives.

English Heritage -
English Heritage exists to protect and promote England's spectacular historic environment and ensure that its past is researched and understood.

Tourism SE -
TSE works with tourism businesses, including more than 2,000 members; local, regional and national government; and many other stakeholders and key organisations throughout the UK and internationally, to support the industry and promote the region.

Screen South -
Screen South is passionate about developing a dynamic environment in which film and media culture can flourish.

Government SE (GOSE) -
We represent central government in the region and our role is to promote better and more effective integration of Government policies and programmes at a regional and local level.

Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCLG) -
We aim to improve the quality of life for all through cultural and sporting activities, to support the pursuit of excellence and to champion the tourism, creative and leisure industries.
