9 October 2009: Watch new ad for Act on Co2

The new advertising campaign Act on CO2 launches today, featuring this ad which will screen on national TV, in cinemas and online.

Thinking about how climate change will affect the next generation makes us realise that we have to act immediately.

Energy and Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock, said that new research shows "that people don't realise that climate change is already underway and could have very severe consequences for their children's lives. It also suggests people still aren't sure what causes climate change. Our new Act on CO2 adverts show how serious it is and that we can all do something about it."

Act on CO2 is a campaign across the UK, which is running alongside Act on Copenhagen. It demonstrates the Government's commitment to working with businesses and individuals to reduce CO2 emissions.

It's time for us all to do our bit and take action!
