9 October 2009: Watch new ad for Act on CO2

The new advertising campaign Act on CO2 launches today, featuring this ad which will screen on national TV, in cinemas and online. 

Energy and Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock, said that new research shows "that people don't realise that climate change is already underway and could have very severe consequences for their children's lives. It also suggests people still aren't sure what causes climate change. Our new Act on CO2 adverts show how serious it is and that we can all do something about it." Read full story

The PM gets serious about climate change

Environment ministers will gather in Copenhagen in December for crunch negotiations on climate change. The deal is crucial. We need to tackle climate change. And we need to invest in low carbon energy, to boost our recovering economy. The PM’s declared in his Newsweek article “if it is necessary to clinch the deal, I will personally go to Copenhagen to achieve it”.
