This guide to Standing Advisory Councils for Religious Education (SACREs) and self-evaluation is designed to help individual SACREs evaluate their role and, in particular, to consider their impact on pupils' learning. The guidance highlights key dimensions of a SACRE's work and provides exemplification of good practice. It encourages all SACREs to consider their distinctive key strengths and areas for development.
