Equality and diversity prompts for inspectors – social care

This document outlines the prompts inspectors may use when inspecting equality and diversity in services.

Inspectors use the evidence they collate to form a judgement on equality and diversity known as a text judgement. The text judgement represents the overall findings and reports this in the organisation section of the report. We introduced equality and diversity text judgements in all social care reports from 1 November 2008.
