Find out property details like title plans or average house prices in an area from the Land Registry.
Overview
The Land Registry can give you details of properties in England and Wales that have been registered after April 2000.
You can:
- find out average house prices in an area
- download the title register, title plan and/or a document referred to in the register of a property you own
- find out the price paid (if registered after April 2000)
- see if there are any rights of way or land restrictions across the land
How to use this service
The Land Registry has two websites. The first link below will take you to the website where you can find out local property prices. The second link takes you to Land Registry Online where you can find out details of title registry and other documents related to the postcode or house and postcode you search.
There is a fee for the downloads and you will need a copy of Adobe Reader to read them. Information on how to download Adobe Reader for free is available on the right panel of this page.
