About

Welcome to Traffic Radio – a service keeping you up to date with what’s happening on England’s motorways, major A roads and London main road network. 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

With information direct from the Highways Agency’s National Traffic Control Centre and Transport for London’s Traffic Control Centres, traffic bulletins are updated every ten minutes at peak times and every 20 minutes at other times.

Whether you’re planning a journey for work, a day out, a shopping expedition or going on holiday, Traffic Radio can help you. Tune in before you set off to find out if there are any delays. It might be easier to take an alternative route, delay your departure or use public transport if your intended route is disrupted.

You can listen to Traffic Radio via your PC or on your compatible mobile device using the for mobile link.

To tune in to the DAB Digital Radio service, simply press the ‘Scan’ or ‘Autotune’ button on your DAB radio. The radio will find all available channels, and you can select it by scrolling through the channels until you reach “Traffic Radio”.

For further information please see Frequently Asked Questions or contact us directly. We are also keen to receive your general views on the station and ask you to fill in our questionnaire.
