We want to support brilliant ideas that involve organisations teaming up in new ways to inspire adults to learn new things.
This is a great opportunity to get new projects off the ground and make the Learning Revolution vision a reality – leaving a legacy that will enrich the experience of adult learners for years to come
Is there money to kickstart new projects? Yes - £20 million!
The Learning Revolution Transformation Fund of £20 million offers grants of various sizes to help projects get started. Funding will be allocated this summer so that you can bring your most inspirational ideas to life by March 2010.
To find out more about what the grants are for, and how to apply for them, download the 'Learning Revolution Transformation Fund prospectus 2009-10' from the 'related publications' box on the right. All applications must be made using the application form contained in the prospectus.
You can also read the DIUS press release from 12 May 2009 (the fund launch date) - see the 'related links' box on the right.
Register for the networking event
Due to overwhelming interest, the London networking event on 9 June is full, and so we have added a second date in Leeds on 16 June to encourage bids from across England.
The 16 June event will be a chance to meet other organisations with shared interests, network with new colleagues, discuss ideas and meet the DIUS team. To register for the event, follow the link below.

Deadline for proposals
Public, private or third sector organisations in England are eligible to submit their creative proposals, preferably in partnership, by 12 July 2009.
If you think there are a range of organisations in your local area who would benefit from bidding for this money, you can download a promotional leaflet and poster in the 'related publications' box on the right.
Early bird bids
Early bird bidders with a project that is raring to go can email the DIUS team at learningrevolution@dius.gsi.gov.uk for advice. Early bids should be submitted by 12 June.
