Years 3, 4 and 5: charting progress

Charts have been produced to show children's progress based on their prior test results. They enable teachers to compare the progress made by individual children in their school with the progress made by children in the national sample. Research on measures of progress has indicated that the average of prior attainment results is generally the most accurate predictor of future attainment. See DCSF's standards website.
