Freedom of Information Disclosure Log

The following sections provides a list of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests received by the Highways Agency. Since January 2006 we have provided a full disclosure log so that our customers can see all requests and responses for information made under the Act. All previous responses were published when they were considered to be of general public interest.

Each year the Highways Agency produce a report reviewing requests received from the public. The 2007 report (PDF 52.9KB) contains details of the requests, trends and statistical data for the last calendar year.

In March 2008 the Highways Agency undertook a review of its Records Management procedures in accordance with Section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act (2000).  A copy of the report can be found here: Review of records management against section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act (747KB PDF)."

To preserve the integrity of the original documents all files have been provided as Adobe Acrobat (PDF) files, and consequently have not been formatted for accessibility. Some responses to the FOI requests consist of a large number of documents that are not held in an electronic format. Where practical we have scanned the documents concerned and made them available online. However, in certain cases the volume of files involved has made this impractical and we have provided the requested information in a hard copy format only.
