Light Rail Statistics: England: 2004/05 - Passenger journeys on the modern public transport light rail and tramway systems in England increased by 8.4 per cent between 2003/04 and 2004/05. In all, 155 million journeys were made on the modern light rail systems in England in the year to 31 March 2005.
