Draft: The Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) (Amendment) Regulations 2009
Proposed amendments to the Light dues Regulations by increasing light dues rates for merchant vessels calling at ports in the UK and Ireland; with adjustments to the caps on the maximum chargeable tonnage, from 35,000 to 50,000nrt, and the annual number of chargeable voyages, so that a vessel will not be required to pay light dues after a ninth payment in the year rather than the current seven.

Rail Vehicle Accessibility: Exemptions for heritage and tourist railways and tramways
Consultation on proposals to exempt certain rail vehicles used on heritage and tourist networks from rail vehicle accessibility requirements. The consultation includes a draft exemption order which will cover all rail vehicles introduced into service before 1 January 1999 (before accessibility requirements were applied) on those networks listed and “miscellaneous” networks including museums, theme parks and certain other operations.
