Anonymous special school PANDA - 2001
This is the fourth PANDA for special schools produced by Ofsted. The PANDA provides a school each year with its own school level data, and national (contextual) data, together in one document. The national contextual data comes from a variety of sources, and can be used to compare your school with other schools and to help with your own self-evaluation. It also shares with headteachers data collected from schools and currently held centrally by Ofsted.

Connexions Partnerships: Framework for inspection
The Connexions Partnerships - A framework for inspection sets out the principles and evaluation criteria to be applied in the inspection by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) of the Connexions Partnerships. The framework will guide the work of inspectors engaged in the inspection and will be of interest to Connexions Partnerships, voluntary and statutory agencies and partners involved in the Connexions service, such as local authorities, schools, colleges, statutory and voluntary youth services, careers companies, and to young people. The introduction outlines the purposes of inspection, the code of conduct for inspectors and the evaluation and reporting requirements. The evaluation schedule provides detailed guidance on the areas to be inspected, namely the quality and effectiveness of the partnership, young people's achievement, their access to and participation in the Connexions service, the quality of assessment, support, guidance and programmes of learning, and the quality of leadership and management. These areas are framed into seven key questions. The evaluation and reporting requirements are detailed under each of the key questions.
