Common Data Definitions
The MIAP Common Data Definitions (MIAP CDD) were developed as a common set of data definitions to be used across a variety of data processes between MIAP and partner organisations.
The standardisation of these key data definitions supports the interoperability of organisations sharing MIAP data and will facilitate the deployment of a MIAP Learner Record.
MIAP CDD version 1 was first released in 2004 as an e-gif compliant Government Data Standards Catalogue (GDSC).
It was expected that the MIAP CDD should be adopted wherever data definitions are used between MIAP and partner organisations. The MIAP CDD should also be considered as a source of information for any standards under development for learner and children's services.
