As part of the New Relationship with Schools programme, Ofsted and the DfES are working together to streamline the provision of data analysis to schools by merging the Performance and Assessment Reports (the PANDA) with the Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT). The new product will be known as RAISEonline (Reporting and Analysis for Improvement through School self-Evaluation).
RAISEonline will provide headteachers, teachers, LAs, School Improvement Partners (SIPs) and inspectors with a wide range of analytical information from one convenient source as well as providing schools with a tool for reviewing their performance data in greater depth as part of their self evaluation and target setting.

RAISEonline is the new tool for schools and school improvement partners to explore the data on their performance.
The documents attached are materials that were used as part of a series of training events in the week beginning 17 July 2006 provided by the DfES, Ofsted, and National Strategies. The purpose of this training was to provide local authority education teams with a detailed background of RAISEonline for their own use and for the training of schools. As well as screen captures from RAISEonline, other sources such as National Strategies' e-learning module have also been used to make up these materials. The e-learning module will be available online later in 2006.
