1. To inform exporters that Singapore has lifted their restrictions on poultry and poultry products imposed on the UK due to Avian Influenza.
2. The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore has announced that in view of the UK having been declared free of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza they have lifted their suspension on the import of poultry and poultry products from the UK.
3. The following export health certificates have therefore been released:
619EHC Canned meat / meat products – excluding beef
483EHC Poultry meat / poultry meat products
4. The following export health certificates will remain on hold pending further action as explained below:
321EHC Day old chicks / poults
404EHC Day old ducks
1186EHC Meat / offal / products derived from ducks and geese
323EHC Poultry / turkeys
In order for these export health certificates to be considered for release exporters are requested to obtain specimen copies from their local Animal Health Office / Carlisle Central Ops. These copies should be submitted to the Singaporean authorities both for confirmation of acceptability of the certificate and as a request for an import permit.
5. The following export health certificates are currently on hold pending revision and will remain so until further notice:
