International trade: Customer Information Notes - AE/08/168

Export of cats and dogs to Australia
1. Revised export certification is now available for the export of cats and dogs to Australia (2432EHC and 2580EHC).
2. Exporters need to be aware that these certificates have been amended to include a more specific tick examination and treatment for dogs and cats. AQIS have informed us that the previous versions of these certificates (footer dated 08/01/03 & 20/09/07 respectively) will be acceptable until the end of December 2008.
3. Should exporters require a specimen copy of the export health certificate and the notes for guidance or other associated documents, they should contact their local Animal Health Office:
