A national survey of effective performance management and the performance of Local Criminal Justice Boards.

The paper summarises the findings from an investigation into the characteristics associated with high-peforming Local Criminal Justice Boards. The aim of the paper is to provide LCJBs with guidance on good practice based on a checklist of factors linked to both effective performance management and effective local performance.
