Proposed change to Criminal Procedure Rules: last chance to comment

The Criminal Procedure Rule Committee is seeking views on proposals to simplify rules about appeals to the Crown Court against conviction and sentence. Those who wish to comment have until 22 February 2008 to submit their views.


Civil Service sickness absence

The Cabinet Office has published a report on sickness absence in the Civil Service, showing that in 2006-07 an average of 9.3 working days were lost per staff year to sickness absence across the whole Civil Service.
