New members who wish to support GIRES in its work on behalf of people experiencing gender discomfort and transexualism are always welcome. Click here for more information about membership.

GIRES welcomes trans people, wherever they may be on the transgender spectrum; we welcome people, whether trans or not, whatever their sexual orientation: lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual or straight; we welcome people of all races and of all beliefs – or none; we welcome people of all ages as well as those who are in any way disabled.
