Overview

Children of all ages need to know about road safety. Teachers are in an ideal position to help them understand the risks, particularly on the journey to and from school.

The links on the right hand menu will take you to the road safety lesson plans, Hedgehogs website and information about Travelling to School.

We've developed teaching resources (see menu and below) designed to meet curriculum targets and also provide a forum for you to discuss aspects of road safety with primary and secondary school pupils.

What about doing a traffic survey? Or designing a road safety poster? Or older pupils might look at issues like road rage and green transport.
