Greenpeace complaint to the Market Research Society about Opinion Leader

In September last year Greenpeace submitted a complaint to the Market Research Society (MRS) about Opinion Leader's conduct in relation to the deliberative events they ran for the department.

The MRS decided to uphold one of the complaints Greenpeace made. Their decision can be found on the MRS: Disciplinary statements issued in the last three months webpage.

In response to media queries the department explained that the MRS decision was a report on Opinion Leader’s management of a day of events which formed only one component of a wider massive consultation.

The outcome of our consultation stands up whatever the view of the MRS of Opinion Leader’s role.

This does not undermine the Government's decision on the nuclear issue and the need to deal with climate change.
