A. We supply the art work and design guidance to outstanding providers when we publish the list of outstanding providers with our annual report, usually in October of every year. Logos and certificates for providers who we judged to be outstanding between August 2007 and August 2008 are presently being produced and are being mailed out to those providers over the next few weeks.
We know that there is considerable interest amongst outstanding providers in being able to use the logo as soon as the judgement is awarded. In response to this we have changed the way in which we will deal with these from 1 September 2008 onwards (2008/09 Outstanding Provider year).Once we have completed the 2007/08 year, these outstanding providers will be dealt with on a monthly basis (a month in arrears), ensuring that providers receive their logo and certificate much more quickly than in previous years.
A. If you are judged Oustanding in an inspection in most cases you will be able to use the Outstanding provider logo, however some special criteria may apply, for example if your organisation provides multiple settings, or you have more than one inspection.
If you are eligible to use the Outstanding provider logo it will be sent out automatically.
A. The logo shows the year it was issued and can be used until the next inspection. However, if you are re-inspected and do not receive an outstanding judgement, we ask you to stop using the logo.
