Pension benefits

As you probably know, your pension is a valuable part of your pay package.

Your employer makes significant payments to provide your pension, in addition to your own contributions. Many employers now show the value of their monthly pension contribution on your payslip - have a look, you may be surprised at how much it amounts to!

All our pension schemes offer you more than just a pension, such as pensions for your dependants and life assurance cover while you are working. Visit the Civil Service Pensions website [External webiste] HTML icon - it has a whole range of information about our schemes and you can read or download booklets and leaflets to find out more. If you want to speak to your pensions administrator it gives you their contact details (see under ‘helpline’ on the front page).
