Good practice...: The key features of work-based learning and assessment described in this report are those which have a direct impact on their quality. They fall into seven categories, including planning of training, key skills and recording evidence.
Quality assurance...: Good quality assurance systems are the driving force behind continuous improvement. They are therefore fundamental to the experience of learners in training and education. In conducting this survey ALI inspectors analysed the strengths and weaknesses described in reports of inspections carried out between April 2002 and March 2003, and identified the most common messages about quality assurance.
