LGPS : GAD FACTORS, REGULATION 117and 122 : INDIVIDUAL TRANSFERS TO AND FROM THE LGPS.
I am writing to inform you that the Government Actuary’s Department (GAD) have provided us with a final version of factors and guidance for Individual Transfers to and from the LGPS. This Guidance note reflects various amendments to the LGPS Regulations most recently those introduced by the Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment)(No. 2) Regulations 2004 SI 2004 No.3372 which is effective from 1 April 2005. This latest version of the Guidance supersedes that issued in March 2004, which may now be disregarded and will be removed from our website. Further details can be found in paragraph 1: Introduction to the guidance dated 27 April 2005.
