Consultation on the arrangements for inclusion of fruit and vegetable crops, nursery crops and vines into the single payment scheme

This consultation closed on 23 May 2008. In line with Defra's policy of openness a summary of responses will be published on this page within 12 weeks.

This consultation seeks views on the Single Payment Scheme (SPS) aspects of the reforms of both the EU fruit and vegetable regime and EU wine regime. The reforms have the potential to make additional land eligible under the SPS and provide the option for SPS payment entitlements to be allocated in respect of this land. This consultation covers the areas of discretion which are available (or, as far as the wine reforms are concerned, are likely to be available) to Member States.
