VLA provides a wide range of applied research and consultancy, diagnosis and surveillance on farm animal diseases to Government, the livestock health industry and private sector.
We are a National and International Reference Laboratory for a wide range of farm animal diseases and have close international links with research institutes and universities.
British Cattle Veterinary Association CongressVLA will be presenting talks and hosting a stand at the BCVA Congress at the National Exhibition Centre, Killarney, Ireland from 13 to 15 November 2008. The main theme of our stand is BVD investigation and control.
VLA publishes its Annual Review for 2007/08 This looks at the achievements of our Science Programmes and includes feature articles on FLU-LAB-NET, our Fellowship Scheme and our emergency response to disease outbreaks.
