ITPC and the transfer to IISP

You may already be aware that the Infosec Training Paths and Competencies (ITPC) scheme has been working closely with the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) with a view to transferring ITPC operation to the IISP. This page is to inform you that the transfer has now been agreed and will take place with effect from April 2009. We are happy to answer any questions that this news will raise. Please e-mail us .

How does this affect me?

There are three categories you could fit into. Not registered yet but thinking about it, registered  or an ITPC certificate holder. Please see below for what to do.

Not registered yet

We are accepting new applications till 31st October 2008. After that date we will only assess registered paperwork

Registered or will be registered by 31st October 2008

All candidates who were registered by 3rd October 2008 would have received an e-mail or letter from ITPC informing them of this change. If you fit into this category but did not receive anything by 10th October 2008 the letter can be e-mailed or posted to you on request. You were asked to return a form [MS Word Document] to us by 24th October 2008 registering your status and the option of transferring to IISP.

The following list shows how we will accept remaining paperwork before the transfer:

ITPC certificate holder

All certificate holders who passed by 3rd October 2008 would have received an e-mail or letter from ITPC informing them of the change. If you fit into this category but did not receive anything by 10th October 2008 the letter can be e-mailed or posted to you on request. You were asked to return a form [MS Word Document]  to us by 24th October 2008 registering your registering your status and the option of transferring to IISP.
