Biodiversity effects of management associated with GM cropping systems - CB02013

Description
The AEBC has recommended that there should be an independent scientific review of all relevant information that will complement the results from the Farm Scale Evaluations. In response to this recommendation, the Government needs to consider the information that is already available and what further information may be needed before decisions about the commercialisation of GMHT crops can be taken.

The project will
(a) draw together all relevant information relating to genetically modified crop productions systems that the Government will need to have available when considering the potential commercialisation of genetically modified herbicide tolerant crops (GMHT),
(b) provide an analysis of the strength of this evidence,
(c) identify gaps in available information, and identify any further research that may be necessary to inform decisions about potential commercialisation.
